Last week’s Ayihlome-Churches against whoonga- is still fresh on people’s minds, the World Gospel PowerHouse & Ethekwini Community Church has joined forces to continue   the campaign against whoonga,   as it celebrates its   sixth year running.

Other churches that have come on board to unite against the blight of whoonga are National Baptist Church and AmaZion on 9 April 2011 and 21 May respectively. Ayihlome heads to the University of Johannesburg on 27 March 2011 where varying church denominations will gather to add their voices in the fight against whoonga.

The much-awaited event will be held at Durban’s ICC on 6 March 2011 and it promises nothing but pure enjoyment for gospel lovers.

With the likes of Bishop Arthur Kitonga, Bishop Freddy Edwards, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule   and other, sharing the word of God, the event is not to miss. Pastor Vusi & Dr Taki Dube will host.

Gospel music giants have also came in their numbers in support of the celebration.   Solly Mahlangu, Rebecca Malope, Sifiso Ncwane, Israel Mosehla and many more, will grace the day.

Beknown to the gospel fretenity, Pastor Dube enthuses, “It is not everyday that one celebrates the opportunity of reaching another year of victory! Everyone is a leader of his own destiny and we are calling all friends and community to come for this once in the lifetime celebration. ECC is about people, Ecc is about empowerment ECC is about change for better and a place of Joy for all! After this celebration your life will never be the same.”

The World Gospel Powerhouse’s Zanele Mbokazi: “We are pleased to see that different churches are committing themselves to be pat of Ayihlome-Churchs against Whoonga initiative. We are inviting more churches to take part. The ECC has set the tone for fellow churches to celebrate with Ayihlome.”

Ayihlome’s theme: Fighting Whoonga, continues through-out all the upcoming events in Durban and outside KZN province.
