With the ever expanding Spa and Salon market, there has been an increasing need to improve our knowledge in order to better our service to our clients.
At The Spa Warehouse we are actively involved in offering various workshops and ongoing training courses to qualified therapists and spa owners.
Product knowledge courses
Courses available: Melinda Wax, Caribbean Tan, Jessica nail range, Beaucience organic skin care.
During the year we offer a few workshops to help improve client service levels. These workshops are offered at various venues or can be arranged for training to be done on-site in your Spa or Beauty School (only applies to groups larger than five) All our workshops require Power Point facilities.
Sales and Marketing for Beauty Schools and Somatology Schools (3 days)
The course runs for either 3 full days or over 6 half days. This course has been designed to incorporate all aspects needed in the SAASHP and CIDESCO syllabus. In each lesson specific aspects are covered incorporating customer care, DISC personality profiling, the sales cycle, displays, marketing your salon, working out a marketing plan and budgeting for your salon. Your students will be equipped with tools and strategies on how to improve their revenue and how to market their own business one day.
Spa Workshop for Schools (1 day)
This whole day workshop gives a great overview of the world of Spas including: what they encompass, the different types of Spas, their history over time and the different terminologies used for the wide range of Spa treatments. We then do a practical demonstration of a typical Spa top-to-toe treatment. The students then get to perform a Spa treatment on one other using Olos Spa products.
Client care, Sales and Marketing (full day)
In this fully day workshop you will learn how to identify your prospective client, how to create a friendly and comfortable environment for your customers and how to identify and satisfy their needs. We will be discussing the latest marketing tools, how to utilize them and the power of creating an inviting environment in which your clients can shop.
DISC Personality Profiling (half day)
Disc Personality Profiling is an old method that always produces amazing results. It has been used time and time again to facilitate sales teams in various corporate companies the world over. The Spa Warehouse has tailor-made this very effective method to benefit our Spa and Salon staff in better understanding their clients’ needs and habits. This is a brilliant and effective workshop that helps boost staff morale as well as your retail revenue. Discounted group rates are available on request.
