A Pair of 8-tiered brass & stainless steel wall sconces for either side of a double volume fireplace at a mansion at Oubaai Gholf Estate. The "S" shaped curves of the brass components had to be worked out mathematically & bent so that she shade positions would be an inverse reflection of the negative spaces between them, not just vertically, but in depth too. The curved brass tubes radiate from a very small central hemisphere. The shades are covered in a mocha satin. All this was created from a thumbnail picture of the real Jean Royere Wall Sconces in a book of 20th century lighting. I have no idea how Royere did it without the miracle of CAD! See
