It’s difficult looking for a wedding gown when you are not exactly a
girly-girl. After having fitted on about 40 dresses and finding fault
with every last one, I decided to wear denim jeans and takkies to my
wedding. Everyone was obviously mortified by my outrageous idea.
I then heard about Meylea Bridal which was a new establishment. I
scrolled down the images of about 100 dresses and had already given up.
This soon changed when I actually went and viewed the dresses which
Leandra had. The reality of planning a wedding and getting
hitched started to kick in…..
Upon my second consultation with her, I saw a dress hanging on the
rail which she had just received; I asked her if I could try it on. It
wouldn’t harm just to try on one last dress; I mean I had already chosen
my dress from the online catalog.
The minute I had slipped on the dress I knew that I had found the
right and perfect one for me. She was stunning in her ivory glory ready
to be worn on my special day. I decided then and there that this would
be the one. I cancelled the online selection which was not a hassle and
discussed this with Leandra. She made me feel all important while
checking out the bust line and seam. She also knew what questions to ask
and made me feel comfortable in my own skin. This was the best service I
had received regarding wedding gowns since getting engaged. Most of the
other bridal stores consultants get irritated when you fit on too many
dresses and they just want to talk money.
I was satisfied with my gown and since then have recommended Meylea
Bridal to friends who are also getting married. Leandra even steamed
ironed my dress the day before the wedding to make sure that it was
Overall Service: 10 / 10
Product knowledge and advice: 10 / 10
Quality of the dress: 10 / 10
Consultation: 10 / 10- this was particularly important to me. She
understood my frustration towards dresses but assured me that I would
look stunning it.
I would recommend anyone to go see Leandra Meyer at Meylea Bridal for their wedding gown.
