The sublime False Bay diving continues… Last weekend we had a very full programme with a Smits dive and a night dive on the PMB on Friday and three launches a day for Saturday and Sunday in epic conditions. A small front came through on Tuesday which maintained the excellent conditions for our dives yesterday – 15m viz and flat calm.
We will be launching again tomorrow and it WILL be excellent, so if you can make it out of the office, DO come and join us! Steve will also be leading a Lady Long Beach work party dive at 1500 tomorrow afternoon – for those who have been following the progress of the reef, the arches are taking shape!
We have the Suunto D4 on special. Suunto are releasing all the D series computers with air-integration and while stocks last we can supply the D4 (non-air-integration) for the 2009 price of R4999! – only 1 left at this price!
Gary Jacobie (GAZ) who has been our full time and more recently part-time instructor has taken a position as a dive instructor in the Dominican Republic and will be heading out in early October. We wish Gaz all the best in his new warm-water environment and I would also like to thank Gary for his professionalism and efforts during his time with us!
We have recently welcomed a new instructor, Kristina Kirk, who joins us after having spent a year teaching in Zanzibar. Kristina has been settling in well and getting to know the sites and we look forward to a busy season ahead with her. Welcome to the team Kristina!
On the subject of instructors, did you know that Pisces Divers will be hosting Colleen Bernard from Amanzi at our first ever IDC programme which will be kicking off at the end of October? Let me know if you are interested and I can forward all the details, dates and costs.
