Merchants offering subscription services require an easy to use credit card payment processing solution to enable them to process credit card payments from their subscribers. PayGate has developed PayBatch to enable merchants to process batches of credit card payments via an easy to use interface. The credit card transaction processing is done through the PayGate online payment gateway directly to the merchant’s internet merchant facility at their bank, so that they will receive the funds directly without having to wait a long time for a payout.

To process a PayBatch credit card payment batch, the merchant will need to compile a file containing data in a specific format for all of the transactions they wish to process. This file can contain a high number of transactions; so many clients can be billed at one time. The merchant can then upload this file via an interface in the PayGate Back Office admin website. The transactions in the batch will then be processed via PayGate’s online payment gateway to the merchant’s internet merchant facility at their bank. The batch will then be processed in real time and the results will be available for download on the PayBatch interface, so the merchant can check the status of the credit card payments. Merchants will not be required to do any development in order to implement PayBatch.

PayBatch has been developed to make the batch processing of subscription credit card payments as easy as possible for merchants offering mail order services, as well as newspaper publishers wanting to offer credit card payments as an option for their subscribers. PayBatch enables merchants to bill a high number of credit cards at one time via the PayGate online payment gateway and receive the funds directly to their internet merchant account. The PayBatch service has been developed to be activated quickly with no development required from the merchant in order to use the service.
