Remote Exploration Services (RES) manages and operates mineral exploration projects in sub-Saharan Africa. It draws upon a team of highly motivated professionals who take pride in providing an innovative quality service to the exploration industry.

RES has over the past 15 years gained significant experience in operating successful exploration and evaluation projects throughout Africa. Time invested in training local teams and encouraging continuity of staff has added significantly to our operational capacity in each country.

RDS is well placed to understand what geoscientists require for successful drill programmes as RDS’ geological knowledge of mineral deposits and associated host-rocks, integrated with the drill team's technical knowledge, offers a formidable combination in both assessing and solving the technical challenges involved in managing drill programmes.



Diamond descriptions are undertaken and supervised by Dr John Gurney in secure facilities designed to accommodate the security, inspection and storage requirements of such work. Residues produced in the microdiamond sample dissolution process are examined by the company’s experienced sorters who are trained and supervised by Dr John Gurney.
