Objective: To provide operators with the knowledge and practical skills to operate a Crane safely and efficiently

  • Basic Slinging & Rigging
  • Load charts/range diagrams
  • Lifting, transporting & placing loads

Duration: Based on 4 Operators per Instructor

Operator Re-Certification: 1 Day (½ day Theory & ½ day Practical)

Operation Certification 3 Days (2 days Theory & 1 day Practical)

Novice Operator Certification: 5 Days (2 days Theory & 3 days Practical)

Target Population:

Operators, Supervisors and Managers requiring training in terms of the Driven Machinery Regulation 18(11) of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
