Waterstone College's 1st Cricket and Tennis teams enjoyed a hugely successful tour of England during the July holidays, with both teams playing excellently against some of the top schools in England.
Anton van Dam was the standout cricketer, with 370 runs at an average of 53, including a century and three 50s, while Jarred Lachenicht took 16 wickets in the 7 games. The tennis team all did exceptionally well, winning six of their seven games.<!--break-->

Athletics | Waterstone College

Athletics is taken seriously at Waterstone, and both the Prep School and the High School participate in athletics in the third term. We offer track and field events and take part in SACSSA as well as government and private schools leagues. Events offered include 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, High Jump, Long Jump, Javelin and Shot Put.


Cross Country | Waterstone College

Since the College opened in 2007, our Boys and Girls teams have consistently qualified for the regional and district championships, in addition to having a number of individual runners qualify and excel. Prep School cross country happens in the third term, during which we focus on athletics, and for this reason cross country is largely taken part in by our long distance athletes. High School: Cross Country is a second term sport.
