VESPA AND SCOOTER RESTORATIONS
1 Sugar Restorations (Basic Package)
A '1 sugar' restoration applies to bikes that have minimal rust and/or bodywork as well as engine work, where both the front fork and motor are not required to be stripped out in order for the restoration to be carried out. '1 Sugar' Resto's start at R3 500 and include a full re-spray, re-assembly - using re-worked existing parts and accessories - as well as a basic motor service, and is generally quicker as far as 'turn around time' is concerned.
2 Sugar Restorations (Medium Package)
A 2 Sugar Resto applies to bikes that require a fair amount rust treatment and bodywork, where the front fork and motor is stripped out so that each part of the bike can be worked on separately. 2 Sugar Resto's start at R4 500 and include a full re-spray, re-assembly - using 'A grade' stainless steel nuts, bolts and screws – buffing and plastic coating of all chrome parts, and a complete motor service. 'Turn around times' on 2 sugar resto's can vary from project to project, and any further repairs required to the motor are quoted on separately.
3 Sugar Restorations (Full Package)
A 3 sugar Resto applies to bikes that need a serious amount of TLC, where either the fork and/or frame is badly bent out of shape, and requires heat treatment and straightening, extensive rust treatment and bodywork. 3 sugar Resto's start at R9 500, and includes a full re-spray, reassembly - using 'A grade' stainless steel nuts, bolts and screws – buffing and plastic coating of all chrome parts, a full motor re-build - with new seals, gaskets, clutch plates, cruciform and brake shoes - and a new set of cables. 'Turn around times' on 3 Sugar Resto's also vary from project to project, and any new accessories required, other than those specified above, are quoted on separately.

Our in-house mechanic has over 40 years experience in Vespa motor repair and servicing, and was Cape Town Vespa Club's mechanic for nearly 10 years. From basic services, to re-bores and full motor rebuilds, he's done it all, many times over.
This includes bikes that have been De-registered, Scrapped or Rebuilt. Provided your bike is not stolen, whether you have registration papers or not, we can re-license it for you.
- For bikes that are still on the eNatis system (with or without papers) : R1 500 – includes Clearance, RWC and registration fees
For De-registered, Rebuilt and Scrapped bikes (with or without papers): R2500 – includes RPI, Clearance, Build-up certificate, RWC and registration fees
