  • Advertising of properties when necessary.
  • Screening of all prospective tenants. This involves the completion by the prospective tenant of a comprehensive application form, credit and personal references, and credit enquiry / clearance through the Information Trust Corporation (ITC).
  • Drawing up and processing of a Lease Agreement when necessary.
  • Prompt collection of monthly rental and the transfer, on receipt thereof, by electronic banking to owner’s bank or building society account.
  • Taking of a damages deposit which is invested on the tenant’s behalf in an interest bearing account, once FICA requirements have been met and the required mandate form completed.
  • Payment of levy and or municipal rates from the monthly rental on behalf of the owner, if required.
  • Inspection of premises to be carried out as specified in terms of the Rentals Act of 1999. Any interim inspections during the currency of the lease period can be arranged and will be subject to our charges for this additional service applicable at the time.
  • General administration of the property is undertaken on instruction and at the cost of the owner. Minor and standard maintenance undertaken in terms of the mandate approved by the owner, other maintenance undertaken subsequent to owner approval of quotations obtained.
  • While we cannot guarantee rental levels, which are of course dependent upon the market from time to time, we keep abreast of current trends to ensure the best income for our clients.
