IM•Echo is a stand-alone module contained within Pearl Echo•Suite. IM●Echo enables administrators to control IM and Chat traffic based on an approved list of contacts. An easily administered list of keywords and phrases can also be created to assist in controlling the sending or receiving of inappropriate matter. The IM●Echo module gives administrators the option to decide if a user, group of users or computer will be allowed to participate in IM sessions with users outside of their network. IM and Chat content is captured for real time content review. Controls can be adjusted to meet certain time periods so that IM usage can be confined to specific hours. This highly flexible module archives all IM content and provides basic reporting so that administrators can maintain a log of IM activity.
