IF CURRENT plans for the Obs Festival on 9 to 11 December hold, Observatory residents will be able to enter the festival area free of charge, while festival goers from elsewhere will pay a cover charge of R47 to enter.

Andrew Fife, chair of the Observatory Business Forum and director of the non-profit organisation in charge of the festival, said at a public meeting to discuss the plans that the cover charge has not been finalised yet, as the organisers are still awaiting answers from potenti..
