Our services below are guaranteed to impress. We will ensure that you leave us feeling enriched and satisfied with your experience.

HUNTING & PHOTO SAFARIS

A TRUE SOUTHERN-AFRICAN SAFARI EXPERIENCE

This land is renowned for its bounteous wildlife and diverse flora, making it simply irresistible to the hunter and avid photographer. The great naturalist William Burchell and accomplished writer and hunter Sir William Cornwallis Harris bear testimony to this.

Accompanied by an experienced professional hunter and a skilled tracker you can follow the spoor of the diminutive Steenbok, illusive Kudu, regal Sable or inquisitive Gnu to name but a few. Hunting is conducted by walk and stalk and from blinds.

We cater for both rifle and bow hunting. Exclusive bow-hunting zones ensure ample opportunity to bag quality trophies. The harvested quarry is handled with the dignity and respect it deserves while the utmost care is taken in preparing your trophy, ensuring that you receive a top quality product back home.

Hot summers and cold winters are typical of this region of extremes. Temperatures may vary from -6°C (- 21°F) on winter nights to 38°C (100°F) in mid summer. The coldest month is normally July during which severe frosts may occur in the lower lying areas. Hunting is conducted year round, though we recommend booking safaris during the cooler periods from April through August. For a successful trophy hunt, seven to fourteen days are required, depending on the number of species to be hunted.

A trophy per day is a useful guideline. Light but warm clothing is essential during this time to guard against the crisp, early morning and night air.  Glorious sunrises, breathtaking sunsets and sparkling night skies will provide you with unforgettable moments.

FLYFISHING

PERFECT FOR ANY FISHING FANATIC

This region, only having an annual rainfall of less than 16inches, is blessed with a network of life-giving river systems, These rivers are home to the large-mouth ( Barbus kimberleyensis) and small-mouth ( B. aeneus ) yellowfish.

These solid, fierce-fighting species are indigenous to South Africa and have become a popular angling species on fly. A well acquainted river guide will lead the keen fly-fisher to waters where an abundance of both species are visible in the cool morning and evening hours.

All fishing is conducted on a “catch and release“ basis, allowing the fish to scuttle into the deep to fight another day.
