Understanding the Client's Needs
At Majinga Consulting we believe in building close relationships with the hiring manager. This is essential to understanding the client’s business, company strategy and communication style. From this point, we are able to identify suitable candidates for your business, promote your business and negotiate on your behalf.

Once we start working together, our clients will also have a clear understanding of our processes and we are able to exchange information effectively to ensure success.

Defining the Position
When both the client and Majinga Consulting have reached a level of trust and understanding, we are able to start identifying the client’s requirements. Identifying specific positions follows, with job descriptions and/or specs outlining the required knowledge, skills, experience, personal qualities and remuneration of the ideal candidate required from the client.

The Search Process
Our search processes are quick and comprehensive. Firstly, we mine our database of pre-vetted candidates. Next we utilize our networking skills to further source potential candidates. Many of these candidates may not be actively in the market, however, our efforts at promoting the client as a preferred employer often piques the interest of top quality talent.

Often, the client will receive information on our database candidates first, as we have all the information required at hand and can arrange the viewing of CV’s almost immediately. Candidates that we source through our networking efforts may take a little longer but the client is always kept well informed of the progress of the search effort.

Naturally, the client’s identity is held in strict confidence until all CV’s have been perused and a short list of potential candidates is identified for interviews.

Presenting the Candidate
Majinga Consulting conducts in depth interviews with all candidates who are put forward. This ensures that the CV’s the client receives are detailed and include an assessment of their strengths and weakness relating to the job spec. Client’s may then wish to meet the full range of individuals or concentrate on a short list of candidates initially.

Majinga Consulting manages all liaison between the client and candidates with regards to interview arrangements, sharing feedback and negotiations between the two parties. This communication process continues until an employment offer is structured and accepted.

Reference checking can be a sensitive process and is only done at the stage when it is believed an offer of employment is imminent. Extensive references of the candidates employment record is done along with the verification of qualifications, criminal and credit clearances.

Settling in Period
The success of the performance of any candidate sourced by Majinga for our clients is pivotal to our success and credibility. Regular contact is kept with both candidate and client for the first 3 months of employment to ensure that a successful integration has taken place.
