Far too much focus is placed on hyped gimmicks, bells and whistles by less informed training providers, than sound design, development and delivery strategies that actually focus on and yield the desired result/s.
Just because a course is a good experience in a classroom or online, does not necessary ensure that effective transfer of learning takes place, or that newly-acquired knowledge and skills will effectively translate into the workplace.
Post intervention assessment may measure some learning acquisition or the early adoption of new skills, however change management, on-the-job support, coaching, mentoring and counselling could substantially add to your training effectiveness.
Then there are specific post-training toolkits that could enhance this transfer of learning more effectively.
Here I design role-specific post-intervention Portfolio of Evidence tasks, Job Aids, Checklists, Quick-reference Guides and other appropriate Performance Support Tools which ensure recent learning impacts attitudes and behaviours in the workplace or factory floor.
