Staff retention is an issue for everyone – what’s yours like?
If your company is haemorrhaging money into the coffers of employment agencies or the classified section of your local paper then perhaps a rethink is in order.

Have you ever asked yourself WHY these people have left?
Are you employing the right people at the outset?
How can you judge who will be successful in YOUR business?

The answer is Benchmarking.

Benchmarking is a system which assesses the core personality traits of the 3 main groups of your staff – the high flyers, the middle-of-the-road guys, and the strugglers. We then create a map of what characteristics and innate qualities a person needs to be a success in your business.
Once you have the map, it’s easy to follow – now that you know what you are looking for.

When it’s time to recruit, simply run the same assessment on your prospective employee and you can see at a glance how likely they are to succeed. If their graph follows the same line, it’s a good indicator that this person is a keeper. This can even work if you are thinking of moving someone interdepartmentally.

We use the PeopleClues Personality Assessment which will give you insight into areas such as a person’s sensitivity, their mental processing ability, their creativity or logic and more. These are things that you simply cannot pick up at interview stage, and may not be aware of even if they have been in your employ for years.
