EXPERIENCE COUPLED WITH IMPARTIALITY AND INTEGRITY
PARDEY AND ASSOCIATES
In February 1992 Pardey & Associates was formed and subsequently developed into a multidisciplinary valuation-service operation with a sample of its Clients including various Municipal entities, Financial Institutions, Legal Firms, Private and Public Corporations. For the GV2008 eThekwini Metro Municipal Valuation our Valuers conducted over 2,500 specialised property valuations (Commercial, Industrial & Agricultural Properties) throughout the western-sector of the City, up to and including Cato Ridge. The project was completed very successfully and very few objections arose, compared to other areas, where we were also called in to resolve valuation disputes. For over 20 years we also conducted Commercial/Industrial/Agricultural valuations for various Financial Institutions, Local Government & the State, with assignments covering KZN, Gauteng and the Eastern Cape. Assignments for the State Attorney have included numerous land claims & restitution valuations, some involving presentation of testimony before the full bench of Land Claims and Constitutional Court Judges. International assignments have been conducted throughout Mozambique & Angola where we were appointed Contract Valuers to prominent Government Agencies. Locally, major assignments have included the Point Redevelopment Area of Durban, special-project harbor properties, Durban International Airport and development impact assessments. The Firm is regularly consulted on matters involving legal disputes in property matters and appearances as expert witnesses in the High Court are commonplace. Roland Pardey was elevated from "Member" to "Fellow" status by The South African Institute of Valuers on 24 February 1993 in recognition of his contribution towards the Valuation Profession.
