Day 1: 23 Dec 2012
Meet and great upon arrival at Dar es salaam or Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania, soon after our staff will assist you to board a domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will enjoy a welcome drink of your choice which will be provided at a special place around the airport. Soon after you will board the vehicles to Stone Town of Zanzibar, here a drive takes about 7 to 10 minutes. Upon arrival at the Tembo Hotel perched on the shore of Indian Ocean you will check before enjoying your drink at the beach bar, swimming in the pool, walking on the beach or eating sea foods in the ocean front restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Tembo Hotel.
Day 2: 24 Dec 2012
After a relaxed breakfast you will be guided to the Indian ocean shore where you will board a boat for a short ride away to the prison Island formally known as Changuu Island for a tour, this small Island offers snorkeling, a nature trail, small beach and the unusual attraction of a sanctuary for giant tortoises. At midday you will board your boat and head back to the Tembo hotel for lunch. In the evening you will set out for a Stone town tour this will take you through this old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar. Very little has changed in the last 200 years. A Guided tour to see the former slave market site, fish market, Sultan Palace, House of Wonders, Old Arab Fort, National Museum, Catholic Cathedral and many amazing scenery. You can spend some hours wandering through the fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways, bustling bazaars, mosques and grand old Arab houses and Palaces. This afternoon will take you to experience the unforgettable ambiance and workmanship particularly reflected in the brass-studded, carved, wooden doors all over Town with more than 500 different examples of this handiwork. Stone Town was deservedly declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Early in the evening proceed to the East Coast beach of Zanzibar. Late evening arrival t the Blue Oyster beach hotel perched on the shore of the Indian Ocean full of the white Sands. The Christmas Eve will be enjoyed here, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: 25 Dec 2012
Breakfast, Beach games and relaxation, Lunch at midday, Afternoon at leisure, Dinner and overnight at Blue Oyster Hotel.
Day 4: 26 Dec 2012
One more day still on the beach. Football, Volleyball, Diving, Snorkeling, Cruising, Local fishing game and so many beach games. All meals and overnight at Blue Oyster Hotel.
Day 5: 27 Dec 2012
In the morning drive to Jozan Forest for a brief visit, this small park is famous for the endangered red collubus monkeys found in Zanzibar and the dickdick (dwarf Antelopes) soon after proceed to the spice farm for a tour. This tour takes you to local farmlands in the central parts of Zanzibar where there is abundance of vegetation. You will be introduced to most of Zanzibar's grown spices and other exotic seasonal fruits. Picnic lunches will be provided at this unique place. Soon after drive to the airport for a flight to Arusha. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Palace Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: 28 Dec 2012
Soon after depart driving 110 kilometers through Kisongo and Makuyuni to Tarangire National park along the way keep your eye pealed for the natural vegetation and games, Upon arrival in Tarangire National Park you will enjoy a morning game drive before lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Early in the evening drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. This park is famous for huge elephants, Baobab trees, Giraffe, Lion, Antelope, just to mention a few.
Day 7: 29 Dec 2012
Full day of morning and afternoon game drive still in Tarangire National Park. All meals and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Day 8. 30 Dec 2012
After a relaxed breakfast depart driving to Lake Manyara National Park, just 50 Kilometers away from Taragire. Perched on the base of the great crater wall extended from Beira in Mozambique through North Africa to Asia. This park is famous for tree climbing lion, Baboons, Giraffe, Elephants, Hippopotamus, Flamingoes, Buffaloes just to mention a few.
Picnic lunches at middy, early in the evening drive to Lake Manyara Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 9. 31 Dec 2012
In the morning drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. On your way you will stop at the view point on the crater rim, this time you will only view the crater without descending into soon after proceed to Olduvai Gorge for a brief visit, this is the cradle of mankind. Lunch will be provided at this unique place. Later proceed to Serengeti National Park for with an en-route game drive, dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
Day 10 & 11. 01 & 02 Jan 2013
Two entire days of morning and afternoon game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. All meals and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge located in the central Serengeti.
Serengeti is the Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
Day 12. 03 Jan 2013
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Lunch at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. Evening at leisure. Diner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. It is a home of more that 2 million wildlife staying in the caldera. It is the multiple land use, where it is to maintain the peaceful co-existence of human and wildlife in a natural and traditional setting. Pastoralism, conservation of natural resources and tourism are the three, main components that are given equal consideration.
Day 13. 04 Jan 2013
In the morning with picnic lunches descend down the crater for a full day tour.
Early in the evening ascend out and proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 14. 05 Jan 2013
Soon after drive to Lake Manyara Airstrip for a flight to Dar es salaam or Kilimanjaro Airport where you will connect with your onward flight. End of our services.
