Margaret van der Watt, from Kwazulu Natal, is the lucky winner of the R1,000,000.00 Baby Soft® on pack promotion. Although van der Watt is not usually one to enter competitions, she is a big fan of the Baby Soft® on pack promotions. She has been entering all the competitions for the past three years and her eleven entries this year finally paid off. "I could not believe it when they called to inform me that I am the winner and even now it still feels surreal! I told my husband in the beginning of the competition that this time I will win it - perhaps that helped the odds turn in my favour", says van der Watt.

When asking what she plans to do with the money, this loving grandmother of three, said that she is finally getting the kitchen she always wanted. A very deserving winner indeed van der Watt is fighting Breast Cancer. "We are so happy for Margaret, she is such an amazing positive person and we hope that the prize money will help her turn all her dreams into reality", says Li-Anne Hide, Senior Brand manager for Baby Soft®.

To celebrate this special occasion Margaret and her husband Paul attended a handover event at The Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg with the Baby Soft® team. During this morning tea the excitement was tangible when van der Watt received her giant cheque with R1,000,000.00 displayed on the front - a true memoir for years to come.

"The on pack promotion was very successful and we will have to assess future on-pack promotions as not many things can beat winning R1,000,000.00", concludes Hide.

You probably don't realise it, but there are companies and people out there, working behind the scenes and without fanfare, that are pushing the envelope as far as setting targets for sustainable products and services goes. You may never have heard of them until a moment ago, but if you've used a public loo of virtually any description in recent years, then you've almost certainly used their products.
