All travelers to Russia required an Invitation for a Russian visa. It could be simple a visa support letter from a hotel. However for business and private Russian visas it is required to obtain an Invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before applying for a Russian visa. Russian Registration Service
Help in getting your Russian visa is not all that IntouristUK offers within its Russian visa services. We also tell you that after you enter Russia you must get a Registration of Foreigners paperwork at an OVIR office (Office of Visas and Registration). Getting these documents within the first 72 hours of your travel to Russia is a legal requirement. Travellers that stay in hotels do not have to register because the hotel will register them. Russian Visa Applicant Requirements
If you are a UK resident, or have been resident in the UK for more than 3 months, you can apply for your Russian visa with us via the Russian Embassy London or Russian Consulate Edinburgh. Otherwise, you should apply for your Russian visa via the Russian consulate in your home country or state. For example the Russian Embassy Dublin, Russian Consulate San Francisco, Russian Embassy Washington, Russian Consulate New York, Russian Consulate Wellington, Russian Consulate Seattle, Russian Embassy Canberra and Russian Consulate Sydney.
