Joint Sales and Marketing Relationship Between the Two IMG Divisions

In a first for global sports marketing leader IMG, two company divisions – IMG Academies and IMG College – will team up to support the nation’s premier senior collegiate football showcase event.

IMG Academies and IMG College will partner to represent the Senior Bowl to broaden the event’s marketing platform and to draw additional sponsorship. IMG Academies will also become the official training partner of the Senior Bowl.

The Senior Bowl, an annual post-season all-star game in Mobile, Ala. showcasing the nation’s top senior collegiate football players who have completed their eligibility, is recognized as the premier event for NFL talent evaluation of elite senior college prospects. 

As the “official training partner” of the Senior Bowl, IMG Academies will integrate its TOTAL ATHLETE methodology in the areas of athletic and character development into player education during the event.  IMG speakers who headlined the NFLPA’s 2011 Rookie Symposium, such as Loren Seagrave (Director of Speed & Movement), Jeff Dillman (Head of Physical Conditioning), Trevor Moawad (Director of the IMG Performance Institute), and Steve Shenbaum (Head of Communication by game on), will participate. IMG Academies also plans to develop educational video vignettes that may be included on the NFL Network broadcast and/or via a digital platform.

IMG College will direct sales efforts with support from IMG Academies.  IMG Academies will take the lead on the expanded high school platform with support from IMG College as well as the IMG Events team, led by Jay Ogden, as well as Odis Lloyd, Vice President at IMG Academies.
