Normal Mix (All purpose)
Normal Mix concrete is used for all general concrete requirements and applications. Compressive strengths between 10 Mpa and 40 Mpa can be specified when ordering.
Normal Mix is manufactured with a slump of 100, but the slump can be adjusted to customer preference.
Pumpable concrete is designed to be more workable as it must be possible to pump the concrete through the pump system to the placement area. It is advisable to use Pump Mix in concrete columns or in similar confined spaces to achieve better flow, compaction and finishing.
The same compressive strengths are achieved as with normal concrete due to special design for the purpose of pumping.
Pool Mix is specifically designed for the construction of swimming pools. Less water is used and the resultant low workability of the concrete makes it possible to pack the concrete to vertical surfaces without running or falling down.
Due to the (normally) extended period of discharge and the resultant standing time on site, this product is relatively expensive
No Fines Concrete
This type of concrete contains no or very little quantities of sand. The characteristics of No Fines concrete makes it ideal for use as a stable sub-surface drainage layer. It can also serve as an insulating or damp-proofing layer.
Compressive strength usually is between 4 and 10 MPa at 28 days.
(FRC) is concrete containing fibrous material which increases its structural integrity. It contains short discrete fibers that are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented each of which lend varying properties to the concrete. In addition, the character of fiber-reinforced concrete changes with varying concretes, fiber materials, geometries, distribution, orientation, and densities.
