Commercial High Court Litigation
We have extensive knowledge and experience in High Court matters and the senior partner, Jeffrey Stewart Salant, has lectured on this subject to law students and graduates for a period in excess of 20 years. Our services include rendering advices on opinions drafting the requisite court process, briefing Counsel and attendances at Court.
Since inception the firm has attended to conveyancing and property transactions which include advising on the appropriate structures to be adopted in these transactions in order to maximize the tax benefits, advising on the complex aspects of capital gains tax, transfer duty and income tax.
Insolvency and Liquidations
The complexities of the Insolvency Act with its cross reference to the Companies Act and Close Corporations Act is an area of law in which our firm has extensive knowledge and practical experience. Our services include winding up of juristic persons (companies and close corporation), sequestration of individuals, convening interrogations and enquiries and representing clients thereat, setting aside impeachable transactions and assisting clients with the diverse practical problem solving and steps which need to be followed in terms of the Insolvency legislation.
