Car Remote Jamming

There has been many different versions when it comes to the topic of car remote jamming.
People believe that criminals are cloning or copying the public's car remotes, and then once the car owner is out of site, that the criminals are then opening the car doors, and then stealing the vehicle or taking whats in side.
This is NOT true.
Because car remotes work with the same frequency as automation remotes do, the criminal stands nearby (preferably closer than the car owner) and will hold the button on the gate/garage remote (which will need to be 433Mhz code hopping) down.
This will then JAM/BLOCK the car owner's remote frequency to lock the vehicle.
Now the owner will carry on walking away thinking his vehicle is locked, but isn't.
This then allows the criminals to do as they please in the vehicle.
