Cover:

Automatically included by selecting the Household Goods section, to protect you and your family for legal liability arising from accidental death, bodily injury and / or accidental loss of or damage to property, away from the private residence.

Building 

Provides building cover for various circumstances including properties that are bonded to a financial institution. We make provision for homeloans property insurance by noting the interest of the financial institution thereby protecting the financial interest of both parties.

Cover:

The Private Residence and Outbuildings are covered against:

  • Fire, Lightning, Explosion
  • Storm or Flood

The building sum insured is based on the current cost of replacement, rebuilding or repairing to its pre-loss or damage condition. We aim to put you in the position that you were prior to any loss.

All Risks 

Worldwide cover is provided on a “General” or “Specified” All Risk type basis.

Cover:

Cover is provided for accidental loss or damage of property insured. 

“General”

  • Clothing, personal effects and equipment
  • Cover is limited to 25% of sum insured in respect of any one article. 

"Specified”

  • Valuable items such as jewellery, stamp & coin collections, as well as pedal cycles, cellular telephones, car radios and tools.

    -           Third Party Liability where you become legally liable for damage to property, death or bodily injury to any person

The value of the Trailer/Caravan insured must be based on reasonable retail value and therefore it is extremely important for policyholders to review the value of their Trailer/Caravan on a regular basis, to ensure adequate cover and that they are not over insured or paying unnecessary premiums.
