Industrial Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps
For your manufacturing and industrial process applications choose an industrial vacuum pump from our wide range of single stage rotary vane vacuum pumps. Made by Airtec Vacuum USA these vacuum pumps incorporate the best features of the German made Busch vacuum pumps. Component parts are interchangeable with most Busch models but cost a fraction of the price of the Busch spares. These robust pumps are available in pumping speeds from 10 m3 per hour to 600 m3 per hour and offer many benefits :
- Quiet unobtrusive operation.
Compact design - Reliable and durable they are easy to operate and maintain.
Simple installation requires no water cooling.
Airtec's direct drive requires no drive belts. This significantly improves reliability and reduces maintenance.
Integral exhaust oil mist filtration is standard on all models. The air discharged from the vacuum pump exhaust is 99.9 % oil free. This feature enables the vacuum pump to be operated in conditions where oil mist from the vacuum pump exhaust would be a health hazard in the working environment.
Eliminating water cooling from large vacuum pumps helped our customers realise huge savings on their water bills. And let's not forget the savings to the environment. Most water cooled vacuum pumps are designed for European conditions and they don't work well during our hot African summers
.they can't take the heat
Exhaust oil mist filtration and an oil recovery system is fitted as standard on our industrial vacuum pumps. 99.9 % of the oil normally discharged by the vacuum pump is recovered and returned to the pump. Clean exhaust air also means a simplified installation as it is not necessary to fit pipes to the exhaust to duct exhaust fumes outside. Oil recovered is oil that does not need to be replaced. Typically the lubricating oil does not need to be topped up between service intervals.
Available in pumping speeds up to 600m3 per hour you have rotary vane vacuum pumps large enough for demanding applications such as :
- Vacuum pressure impregnation
- Transformer processing
- Oil purification
- Heat treatment
- Hospital central vacuum systems
- Vacuum forming
Airtec's 230 m3 per hour vacuum pump is fitted with a tropical cooling package comprising a high capacity fan and an oil cooler to tame the hottest African summer.
Cooler operation ensures longer operating life, greater reliability and better ultimate vacuum
Airtec model 300 single stage rotary vane vacuum pump. High performance in a compact package. 300 m3 per hour pumping speed with a small footprint and whisper quiet operation
For applications requiring high pumping speeds and superior ultimate vacuum use a Roots pump/rotary vane pump combination. The pump down cycle for our Roots pump combinations can be fully automated. This is the solution for processes such as vacuum pressure impregnation, vacuum furnaces and oil purification. Quick cycle times ensure that you get more work done every day and the superior ultimate vacuum achieved allows you to meet demanding vacuum specifications that much easier.
When a Roots pump is combined with our 'Blue Bull' rotary piston pump you have an extremely fast pump set with rock solid reliability. These 'all metal' pump sets provide superior vacuum. They can handle large amounts of water vapour without contaminating the pump oil and are resistant to chemical attack. They can run twenty four hours a day without missing a beat and are ideal for industrial processes requiring high pumping speeds over long operating periods.
Custom made vacuum systems
If you require a mobile pump set we will design and build to suit your requirements. This mobile Roots combination complete with multi point manifold and quick connectors was built for L H Marthinusen for processing transformers
This air cooled custom built pump set uses a light weight German made Kaeser Roots pump and an Airtec Rotary vane pump. The mobile pump set offers high pumping speed and superior ultimate vacuum in a compact package.
Vacuum SA provide the best value for money in large pump sets. You will not get the same performance for the same money anywhere Guaranteed!
A central vacuum system supplied to the laboratory at Crocodile River Mine at Brits. The multi pump unit supplies vacuum on demand to the laboratory at a predetermined pressure. The vacuum pumps switch on automatically when demand is made on the system and switch off when not required. The automated vacuum system replaces several smaller vacuum pumps previously situated in the laboratory
This large tank system uses a 230 m3 per hour rotary vane pump to provide a smooth, constant source of vacuum for resin infusion moulding of composites used to manufacture a thirty two meter diameter rotor.
