Melamine represents a highly resistant, exceptionally strong plastic laminate material that is applied to chip-board in a range of colours. It is both durable and easy to clean and is stain and mark-resistant and also heat-tolerant. d&g Kitchens offers a wide range of Sonae & PG Bison melamine colours. It is used in the make-up of standard kitchen and built-in cupboards (white) and is edged in either 1mm, 2mm or 3mm PVC edging. Standard specifications are: ·        

* 16 mm Textured or Alpine finished melamine coloured boards, ·        
* 1mm, 2mm or 3mm PVC edging (same or different colours), ·        
* This material is popular because it is durable and easy to clean

Wrap consists of a high quality PVC foil that is applied to boards using heat. It is molded into shape and gives off a very appealing look to finish a kitchen or bathroom. d&g Kitchens offer a wide variety of door patterns and colours to our customers in wrap.

Standard specifications are: ·      

* 16 mm supawood board, ·        
* Patters are then routed-out on a CNC machine and sanded till smooth, ·        
* 300 micron thick PVC foil is heat-molded over the supawood boards, ·        
* Single-faced white MDF backing,  


Veneer is a thin decorative covering of fine wood applied to coarser wood or other material. An attractive appearance that covers a chipboard panel in various colours such as: Burgan Mahogany, Walnut, Cherry Wood and Canadian Maple.

Standard specifications are: ·        

* 16 mm chipboard laminated in a coloured Veneer wood, ·        
* Stained or oiled 2–3 times to the correct colour to match the wood grain, ·        
* Edged with 2mm edging in the same colour.    

Kitchen, Vanity & Built-in Cupboards

d&g Kitchens supplies all different sizes and ranges of cupboards which are assembled with a Pin & Cam system. We can also supply our cupboards in flat-packed units which are quick to assemble. All cupboards are supplied in white melamine unless stated by the client in a specific colour to match exposed sides, and feature the following advantages:

* Cupboards are constructed out of 16mm white melamine, ·        
* Pin and Cam assembly system (no panel pins), ·        
* Predrilled for Grass hinges unless stated to use other by the client, ·        
* Predrilled shelf holes, draw runners and boxes at various heights, ·        
* Easy to install other accessories such as spice racks and pull-out storage units.
