The Art of Movement is a dance and yoga studio specialising in ballet, modern & tap classes for children and adults. We also specialise in Vinyasa yoga, a dynamic form of yoga that focuses on the use of breath with movement.
We host one hour yoga classes throughout the day to suit everyone, as well as weekend classes.
Classes are small enough to be personalised to suit the students needs, as you form a relationship with our qualified teacher.
Dance students will participate in examination work in line with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus. This is an international syllabus. They have the option to participate in competitions as well as the end of year show which is most recommended.
Dancers have the added benefit of attending free yoga lessons to improve their strength and flexibility thereby limiting injury by creating bodily awareness and preparing the body for the physicality of dancing.
