Enretech technology uses recycled blended cellulose wastes to manufacture the world’s leading rapid-action absorbents. Many years of patented research and development have enabled ENRETECH to create products that totally encapsulate hydrocarbons and, in certain cases, then biodegrade them to their non-harmful constituents. This means that ENRETECH can offer a complete dry-cleaning and bioremediation treatment for hydrocarbon spills on hard surfaces or for contaminated soils and sludges. Groundwater is protected because the contaminants remain trapped inside the sorbent while being degraded, and prevents leachate forming.
ENRETECH products are made entirely from blended cellulose waste materials from renewable resources. Most ENRETECH products contain cotton lint – a previously discarded material which is highly oleophilic. The ENRETECH process for recovering and enhancing the lint is patented. Our blended natural cellulose products absorb up to 18 times their own weight in hydrocarbons before becoming saturated. The fibres have a powerful capillary action which, even when wet, will naturally displace the water in order to absorb oil. Enretech cotton lint contains natural micro organisms with a strong appetite for oils, fuels, greases, vegetable oils and many other hydrocarbons.
