Learners attending this course will be required to supply certified copies of their Identity Document and Matric Certificate. Methodology The first three days focuses on SCM but sets the base for Asset Management which will be covered during day four and five. The assumption is that participants will attend all five days. The following training techniques are applied: · Training is interactive and outcome based o There are lectures; Group discussions; Activities; Case studies · The course material and slides will be in line with the unit standard and outcome listed above Participants must submit and individual assignment for assessment · Experiential learning approach is followed throughout the training process · Participants with disabilities will be given any necessary support. Assessment: Competence assessment methodology: The competence of the trainees will be determined by: · Assessment throughout the duration of the training process by the facilitator · Assessing quality of individual contribution; Assessing group activities and case studies; assessing the Portfolio of Evidence that must be submitted within 30 days after completion of the class room training. · The assessment criteria of specific outcome 1 and 3 of unit standard and the additional outcomes will be tested throughout the assessment process Certification: After the successful completion of this course, learners will receive a LeMark Certificate of competence. Alternatively learners will receive a letter of attendance if they do not wish to hand in a portfolio of evidence. Re-submissions: When a learner is found Not Yet Competent, they will be given one chance to re-submit, they will have 36 days (weekends & holidays included) to complete their PoE/Assignment. Should they not meet this deadline or if they are found Not Competent for the second time they will have to book, pay and attend the programme/course at their own expense.
