Their purpose is to develop paediatric and paediatric critical care nursing education, practice and research.They work with nurse leaders and students to find they best solutions for caring for babies, children and adolescents.

The Harry Crossley Foundation Postgraduate Child Nurse Training Initiative supports two postgraduate diploma options, one in Child nursing and the other in Critical Care (Child) nursing, and both programmes are registered with the South African Nursing Council.
