Voluntary Disclosure Program
From 1 November 2010 taxpayer's can apply for voluntary disclosure relief (VDP), under certain circumstances, meaning that if they come clean with SARS, make a full disclosure and pay all taxes due, on a world wide basis, SARS will not impose additional tax or penalties.

- Filing VDP applications;
- calculating tax liabilities and engaging with SARS in reaching agreement on technical issues;
- no-name voluntary disclosure for a non-binding SARS opinion on eligibility for VDP relief.
