ENTERPRISE ENGINEERING was founded in 1978 by Werner Erne and was situated in Voortrekker Road, Maitland. Two additional directors, Max Frei and Sepp Hunkeler, joined the company and in 1984 the company moved to 10 Dorsetshire Street, in Paarden Eiland.  Sepp Hunkeler bought out his partners during 1987 and moved premises to 15 Carlisle Street, Paarden Eiland shortly afterwards.

In June 1989 the company was sold to Liedtke Technik (Pty) Ltd t/a Enterprise Engineering with J. Liedtke and S. Liedtke as shareholders and directors.  The company aquired it’s own premises at the previous address, 10 Dorsetshire Street in Paarden Eiland. And moved back in June 1998.

PROJECT work is undertaken in the cases where complete assemblies or subassemblies are required by our customers and normally would include the design of the assembly, including all calculations, drawings etc. Items that would be handled under the project category include machine building, press tool manufacture, larger subassemblies as for winches etc.
