This enables snapshots of the company to be created at various points in time.

A certain amount of turnover is expected and unavoidable but excessive turnover creates an unstable workforce and increases HR costs and organizational effectiveness. It increases recruitment, selection, placement, training and development costs. Vision provides a facility to analyse the reasons for turnover so that a correlation may be drawn between the factors with a few to reducing it.

Employees need to feel that they are being treated fairly. Their perceptions may be based on unfair promotions, equitable pay with external and internal scales, ensuring that policies, procedures, rules and regulations are uniformly administered. Vision stores benefits and remuneration aspects of compensation. It is possible to produce graphs or tabular comparisons of salaries and benefits. These may be compared to external surveys to indicate distribution. Reasons for promotions, training opportunities etc may be produced on demand.
