Hi there, fellow parents!

To keep you all in the loop, we would like to tell you that we will shortly commence cutting down the blue gum and other trees on our 14th Avenue and Church Street boundaries.

In doing so, we are preparing for the construction of a long awaited secure boundary wall, and ensuring better grass growth for our sports fields. (The blue gums suck an incredibly large quantity of water leading to poor grass growth in the vicinity.)

The boundary wall project, started last year, will be re-launched shortly. I am sure that you will agree that, from all points of view, including security of our children, this is a top priority project. You will have the opportunity to purchase individual pillars with your names on. A sample section will be completed within the next few days, and details of how to purchase a pillar, etc., will be released asap!

At the same time we are studying traffic flow and parking issues to ensure that our gates are positioned correctly and that traffic flows are improved along with traffic safety.

Some much needed repaving and proper drainage in certain areas, including the Pre Primary school drop off and parking area, are on a priority list.

Enjoy the up-coming school holidays!

The CANDO moms served a scrumptious breakfast in a beautifully decorated hall, and Des Soutar of Continental Cars got everyone's pulse racing with a display of magnificent machines. This introduced a wonderful talk on Fatherhood, which Mark Davidson shared with a group of dads at the Father's Day Breakfast. A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.
