The Eastcape Training Centre celebrated its 35th year in training on the 11 May 2011.

Part of the celebrations included a cake cutting ceremony for all the staff, as well as a banquet at the ETC Conference Centre which hosted staff and many esteemed delegates from the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro which included Mr Patrick King, Chairman of the ETC Board, Mr Dieter Kusel, the former CEO of ETC, and many other high profiled clients from major companies like General Motors South Africa, Merseta, Cova Cola, Engen, Ford and Aspen; to name a few.

Guest Speaker was Mr Kevin Hustler, CEO of the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber, who gave a heartfelt and proud tale of ETC that truly captured the essence of what the training centre strives for; and Mr Niel Campher of Ukuvula Holdings kept the crowd alive, as the Master of Ceremonies.

An advertising Feature was placed in The Herald on the 9th May 2011, with many messages of congratulations from ETC's suppliers and clients. We are proud of our history and this, coupled
with our belief that our competitiveness rests on global thinking, gave birth to our logo which depicts ETC in the global space and our motto which propagates our commitment to quality: “Proudly Advancing Skills Development”, Says Mr Randall Jonas, CEO of ETC.
