cooling towers reduce the water temperature of the compressor closed loop circuit to the desired value at the compressor inlet. Cooling occurs through evaporation. The cooling towers, designed for outdoor operation, can operate in ambient temperatures between -40°C/-40°F and +40°C/ +104°F. Perfect sizing – Sizing is based on wet bulb temperature, corresponding to a higher efficiency. For example, a dry temperature of 30°C/86°F will become 22.5°C/72.5°F at 50% relative humidity. Autonomous operation – A temperature sensor gives the information to a temperature controller which starts and stops the fans. Independent electric supply – cooling towers have an independent electric supply that you can connect to your electricity cubicle or distribution board. High efficiency – The coils feature a patented design which ensures maximum cooling capacity. This reduces the air pressure drop while maximizing tube surface area and increasing heat transfer. High reliability – The coils are manufactured from high-quality steel tubing following the most stringent procedures, and are inserted into a heavy-duty frame. Both frame and coils are hot dip galvanized. Water savings – The extremely efficient drift eliminator system limits the drift rate to less than 0.001% of the recirculating water rate, which saves valuable water and treatment chemicals. Minimum maintenance – Superior air inlet louvers of a 2-pass design minimize splash-out, block out direct sunlight and reduce algae formation inside the coolers, thus substantially reducing water treatment and maintenance costs. In addition, the basin is accessible from four sides, has large openings and can be inspected while the pump is running. The fan motors are accessible from outside the unit for normal maintenance, and no tools are required for belt adjustment. Connection to a water pump skid is recommended.
