DryCote utilizes industry
products currently available within the industry ranging from torch-on membrane, bituminous and cementitous products, construction additives as well as the latest technology for treating rising damp. Most of these products have been tried and tested by either the British Board of Agrèments or EU authorities. As such all are backed by guarantees from our main supplier, viz.Safeguard Chemicals.
Treatment of Damp
Damp in buildings may be defined as the flow of water through a permeable wall structure, with the water being derived from ground water, rainwater or absorption of irrigation water.
Drycote uses the tanking method to remedy most cases of damp.
In the absence of a DPC or when a poorly installed DPC is evident, we use the injection method to create a chemical DPC by making use of Dryzone Cream supplied by Safeguard Chemicals.
We use high quality torch-on membranes to waterproof flat roofs. Drycote recommends a two-year maintenance programme for all torch-on products for protection against all harsh weather conditions.
We also waterproof pitched roofs where there are insufficient flashings or where parapet walls have not been waterproofed or if the waterproofing has failed.
