“This is the lifestyle business you have been waiting for”

Imagine investing in an opportunity that could guarantee keen interest from a completely new client base at the start of every year. Imagine having the backing and support of an award-winning team of specialists in their field. Now consider what it would mean to truly enjoy what you do, 365 days of the year – while earning an income.

DRUMKiDZ founders Andy Byskup and Rosemary Watters knew that they were onto a sure thing after running the DRUMKiDZ Music Development Programme pilot trial in 2005. Four years on, and a planned network of licensees will see this innovative system expand nationwide.  DRUMKiDZ is set to become the premier extra-mural offering at pre-primary schools, and simultaneously provide investors with an alternative lifestyle and platform to create wealth.

The DRUMKiDZ market is not restricted to the playground, however, and attracts interest from event organizers across the board. “We (have) facilitated every type of occasion,” explains Andy Byskup. Their resume includes teambuilding events, parties, weddings and “head-stretching” experiences.

“Over 3000 children have gone through the DRUMKiDZ programme in Cape Town alone in the last four years,” Andy says, enthused.

A license costs R 87,500. For their investment, franchisees will receive comprehensive training, DRUMKiDZ programme material, drumming products and guidance in sales, marketing and administrative procedures. “We are the only organization to develop a programme specifically for children in their foundation years, and support it with a range of developmental products,” Andy explains. “We want to help educators and parents to produce confident, energized and creative kids,” he adds.

The DRUMKiDZ Sponsorship initiative allows children who would not otherwise have been able to participate to enjoy the numerous benefits of the programme.

On ‘the ideal licensee’ Andy concludes: “If (they) have the passion and really want to impact on children’s lives, this is the lifestyle business you have been waiting for.”The School Programme
