Sure, we train you to make great ice cream, pastries and cakes but if that was all you got we would not be doing our job. We think our job is to put you on the road to success in the ice cream business.
You do get lots of hands-on training but we also load you up with sound marketing advice, tips and tricks of the trade. I sure wish I had taken a course like this before I got into the ice cream business!
| Our basic training course is mostly hands-on, factory training with close supervision. The 10-day course consists of a combination of ice cream training, baking cakes, cookies and confections and some candy-making. Master pastry chef speaks excellent English. Intensive lectures. The hands-on training is oriented toward training key employees in the manufacture of gelato and other dessert products. However. employees come and go but the Boss (you) has to know the business. Each morning (first week only) starts off with a lecture by Chef Michael or one of our many experts. These lectures cover many aspects of ice cream manufacture, marketing, advertising, promotions and health/safety. Before arrival, download our eBook Startup and Stay Up in Ice Cream and read the chapters we recommend. Required reading.You will have a week-end free in Bangkok. Bangkok is exciting and a bit like the Wild West. Be sure to ask for our Bangkok and Its Hotels brochure before arriving. Our training is always hands-on, one-on-one.
