The Destination Builder for Incentives
Whilst out and about visiting a variety of Destination Management Companies we have found that many operators believe that there is no software solution to facilitate Incentive working practices!
We are delighted to confirm that the exact opposite is in fact true. The Destination Builder was originally designed in conjunction with a leading Incentive DMC to be used specifically for Incentive proposals. A few examples include:
- Multiple Itinerary Options within one Excel workbook
- Itemised Quotation Forms with optional and complimentary items
- Detailled working documents for your project manager
- Rooming Lists to send to your accommodation suppliers
- Function to accommodate road rally's, treasure hunts or similar incentive activities
The “birth of the Builder” began while Paul was visiting a friend and owner of an Incentive DMC. Paul noticed that consultants were repeatedly copying and pasting MS-Excel and Word information in order to create their intricate costings and itineraries. As an engineer with an analytical brain, Paul’s logic determined that for ease, speed, consistency and accuracy, Incentive processes should and could be automated. Enter the "Incentive Builder" (which it was called in those days) and the rest as they say, is history!
The flexibility consequently allowed its’ development to accommodate all types of tourism working processes and therefore the name was changed to the "Destination Builder" at a later stage. Groups, FIT’s, Series, Inbound and Outbound, Conferencing and Scheduled Tours are all catered for.
As Microsoft Office applications are used in so many tourism offices, a conscious decision was made to develop our software within this familiar environment. The Builder therefore naturally integrates with existing day-to-day working practices.
