This course provides an understanding of how information technology may be efficiently and effectively used in the business environment.
Attendees get an overview of hardware, software, file/database concepts, systems analysis and design methodologies. The complex integration of hardware, software, data, procedures and personnel that is required for managing information systems is addressed. The impact of constantly changing information technology upon the organization and the management of the firm is discussed.
