Play therepay is a non directive therapy that creates an opportunity for the child to experience growth under the most favourable conditions.  Since play is their natural form of self expression, the child is given an opportunity to play out accumilated feelings of tension, agression, fear, frustration, sadness, insecurity, confusion and bewilderment.  By playing out these feeling he brings them to the surface, gets them out in the open, gets them out in the opn, faces them, learns to control them and abandoms them.

Play therapy is recommended for children who have experienced any of the following:
Divorce
Decrease in school grades
Changing schools
Loss of someone close
New sibling
Diplaying irregular behaviour
Any traumatic experience
