We started the stud side of the business in 1988 with the importation of our base stallion, Thaddaeus, who was licensed and Performance Tested in Germany. We have over the years concentrated on producing horses for the dressage discipline. Our mare base started with three imported mares, a state premium Grande/Waidmannsdank mare, a Bolero/Wendekreis mare and a Pik Bube I mare, Pikola, who competed extremely successfully for us. We also purchased a couple of SA Warmbloods: a Wachmann II/Mooi Nooi mare, Alzu Witchita, an Anchluss mare, Namutomi and also some thoroughbreds. With these mares we have bred quality youngsters who have become good competition horses and breeding mares.

Cellehof is situated on 30 acres in Blue Hills, Kyalami. It is both a stud farm and a livery yard, catering for both competitive and pleasure riders, with every facility for both dressage and jumping. A variety of competitive riders are catered for ranging from novice children to top level adult riders.
We have livery boxes for 40 horses. Our facilities include two dressage arenas and a sand jumping arena, all floodlit and maintained daily; a grass derby type area, two lunge arenas, a loose lunge school, and a track around the fields. All competition horses use individual electric fenced paddocks, whilst retired or breeding horses use the large stud fields. We have top grooms, and 24 hour supervision.
