  •  SASWITCH ATMBankservAfrica’s SASWITCH service enables clients of any participating bank to draw money from ATM’s belonging to any other participating bank. This service is available to credit and debit card holders.  All domestic transactions with a valid bank identification number (BIN) are switched between acquiring and issuing financial institutions. ATM card transactions bearing an international BIN are not switched via BankservAfrica.
  • Debit card (POS)

In support of efficient business, merchants make use of point of sale (POS) devices to acquire transactions for their customers irrespective of which bank they utilise.  Once a transaction is created it is transmitted to the merchant's bank which in turn passes the transactions to SASWITCH to route it onto the issuing e.g. customer's bank for authorising.
  • Credit card

BankservAfrica provides both credit card authorisation and settlement services.  The authorisation service facilitates authorisation of credit card transactions by customers of banks, irrespective of the bank acquiriing the transaction at point-of-sale (POS).
  • Card not present (CNP)

This service allows for internet shopping (and any other transaction where a card is not physically present) by way of a credit card, which is much more secure for both buyers and sellers.  This 'on-behalf-of' service reduces the risk of unauthorised use of a cardholder's account.
      • RiskNet card fraud management

BankservAfrica's RiskNet system provides predictive fraud detection and case management for credit, debit, retail and commercial card fraud.  The fraud detection service covers cards used at both POS and SASWITCH ATMs.
