As negotiations continue between the industries bargaining council and the unions, ABC Direct Express stays committed to doing its best to deliver. Our suppliers along the Eastern Cape & Garden route have encountered some serious challenges, and threats and intimidation are plentiful.
They reported their first vehicle stoned yesterday (Wednesday the 16th- day 4 of the strike) in East London. A minor injury was reported from a stone which was hurled through the open passenger window. Various other couriers and transport companies are experiencing the same.
