The active ingredient in our Immunova range of products is called Carbo Hydrate Derived Fulvic Acid (CHD-FA). CHD-FA is an internationally patented process to manufacture a novel Fulvic acid, obtained from a naturally occurring, metal-free and contaminant-free plant source.
Our research has shown CHD-FA to be anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. Other fulvic acid products make these claims, but with CHD-FA there are two key differences;
CHD-FA is pure, uncontaminated, Fulvic Acid (FA)
CHD-FA is very low in total metal content and heavy metals free.
There is a long history of use of Fulvic Acid (FA) in complementary and traditional treatments. However, environmentally sourced FA suffers from the disadvantage that it has high levels of heavy metals and environmental pollutants. It usually from a mineral source where the extent of the binding to the minerals reduced or eliminates the benefits.
CHD-FA comes from a source that is free of these contaminants and is not bound to any minerals. The added benefit emanating from this is that the carboxyl binding sites of CHD-FA, which provide much of its chelating ability and medical efficacy, are unoccupied.
Research into FA was done in the 1980's and 1990's by a South African company and many patents were developed.
Research data suggests that the product, when applied topically does not produce any hypersensitivity reactions and is non-toxic, with regards to liver and kidney functions.
Animal and human studies have concluded that the product is safe for topical and oral use.
